UK-ORE (United Kingdom Opposes Renewable Eyesores) is a nationwide campaign group formed to fight back against the flood of industrial-scale energy projects threatening our county. With thousands proposed solar farms, Battery Energy Storage Sites (BESS), and “Great Grid Upgrade” plan looming, the country’s precious farmland and rural character are under direct assault.
We stand for food security, countryside protection, and rural communities, not concrete fields of panels, fire-risk battery banks, or towering pylons cutting across the horizon. UK-ORE exists to give local people a powerful voice and to demand sensible, balanced energy solutions that respect both people and the land.
