Richard Tice MP

Member of Parliament Boston & Skegness

Richard Tice is the sitting MP for Boston and Skegness and serves as Deputy Leader of Reform UK since his election victory in July 2024. A former business executive in property development and a long-standing eurosceptic, he co‑founded the Brexit Party (now Reform UK) and the Leave Means Leave campaign.

As Reform’s national energy and climate spokesperson, Tice is a vocal opponent of large-scale solar farms and battery storage systems on agricultural land. He champions underground cabling over pylons and argues for preserving prime farmland and food security.

Deeply rooted in his constituency, Richard is proudly also a founding member of LORE – Lincolnshire Opposes Renewable Eyesores, working alongside local communities to block proposals for over 40 solar farms, associated BESS sites, and the Grimsby–Walpole pylon corridor. His commitment reflects his broader mission: protecting rural landscapes and giving local voices real power.

Dame Andrea Jenkyns

Mayor - Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority

Dame Andrea Jenkyns, Mayor of Greater Lincolnshire, is a founding member of LORE – Lincolnshire Opposes Renewable Eyesores and a passionate advocate for protecting the county’s farmland and rural heritage. Elected in May 2025 with a 40,000 majority, Andrea brings a wealth of political and local knowledge as a former MP, Lincolnshire County Councillor, and Education Minister.

Born, raised, and educated across North and East Lincolnshire, from Cleethorpes to Boston, Andrea has deep roots in the region. With a background in education, the arts, and local government, she has long stood for common sense, Brexit, and localism, and has been a strong voice for SEND families and rural communities.

Andrea proudly joins LORE to fight against the unchecked spread of solar farms, BESS sites, and pylon developments, and to be a strong, outspoken voice for Greater Lincolnshire.

Councillor Sean Matthews

Leader - Lincolnshire County Council

Sean Matthews became the Leader of Lincolnshire County Council after Reform UK’s resounding success in the local elections in May 2025.

In the 2024 General Election, Sean outperformed all expectations and narrowly missed out on taking the top spot for Reform in the Louth and Horncastle constituency. Spurred on by this grass roots success, Sean teamed up with Richard Tice MP and Dame Andrea Jenkyns to lead the party into victory in the county council and Greater Lincolnshire mayoral elections.

During all his campaigning, and now using his platform as leader, Sean is one of the strongest critics of plans to cover Lincolnshire’s countryside with pylons, substations, solar factories, windfarms and other industrial blights.
He describes the pylon plans as scars on Lincolnshire’s landscapes, and has vowed to do all he can to stop this industrialisation of our wonderful countryside, including standing in front of the bulldozers alongside residents if he has to.

Having recently become the chairman of the East Midlands Councils, he is joining up the region in opposition to these destructive plans, and piling on the pressure to campaign against net zero across all of the East Midlands.

A long-standing champion for local people and communities across Lincolnshire, Sean loves this county and its way of life, committing to protect it and keep Lincolnshire growing.
